Goldman Sachs European Hedge Fund Symposium

On June 11th and 12th, Lucas Panaro, Head of Liquid Funds at Turim, attended the European Hedge Fund Symposium, a conference hosted by Goldman Sachs in Rome.

This gathering stands as one of the most relevant in the industry, annually bringing together hedge fund managers who present their investment theses to a select audience of allocators such as pension funds, endowments, and Family Offices.

This year’s edition welcomed over 800 participants, including 500 allocators and 90 funds, showcasing a wide range of strategies and profiles.

Throughout the event, topics such as equity fundamentals, systematic algorithms, capital markets, and Europe’s role in the current geopolitical context were explored. In addition to attending panel discussions, Lucas also engaged in one-on-one meetings with managers, focusing on tracking strategies and performance.
